Management Training? Really Useful?

You joined a management training. The trainer was lively. The class was engaging. Everyone was excited. But back in the office, you were still performing as before. The newly learned skills were not put into practice.

What the training left was a think binder of handouts, plus some good memory. (Well, if there were some special activities or events in the class, the training will be more memorable.)

朋友的公司出了一點問題。

公司的其中一項主要業務是負責其銷售的器材的保養維修工作。由於發現出勤的維修人員遺漏及出錯頻頻,所以管理層便共謀對策。

很多公司(例如電訊、煤氣、機械工程等)都有維修人員在外工作。一般來說,他們都是依據工作單所列項目來行事。不過,因為一些例如是對器材作基本檢查等工作是必須進行,所以通常都不會細列。

朋友的公司遇到的問題,便是維修人員很多時沒有進行基本的檢查,一些基本保養檢測及維護沒有做好,導至後來出現較嚴重的事故而令客戶投訴及公司的捐失。

一家小公司,沒有太多的資源,應如何做好改善?

於是,幾位管理人在會議桌上進行「腦震盪」。

銀行奇遇記(二)之攞你命三千

因為對A銀行服務的不滿,想把現有的帳戶搬至B銀行。

於是到B銀行詢問有關開立戶口的問題。

由於我要的是綜合戶口,要同時可以開立不同貨幣、支票、投資等的服務,所以便問清楚不同的條款。

由於銀行客戶都能主任一一解答,而且態度良好,服務似乎也頗合心意,所以決定開設帳戶。
